August 16! Pizza! On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, August 16, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

A gentle reminder this week that we do not allow carry in alcohol of any kind.

We also want to clarify that we do still accept advance phone orders for pizza, but on busy nights, once we start serving and have a line at the order window, we will cut off the phone orders. If you wish to place a phone order, your best bet is to call on Wednesday before we open at 4:30. We do not accept orders by email or Facebook.

Our musical guests this week are Clear Rocky Bottom, rocking the Driftless since 2016. Covering a little bit of country, a little bit of rock, and maybe even a little bit of country rock, these guys will be harmonizing until the fireflies come out.

This week marks the return of the Duchess, our favorite dessert pizza. Loaded with fresh peaches, house-smoked raspberry jam, toasted walnuts, and Hook’s gouda cheese, this is the perfect way to end your evening. To make it easier this year, we’re putting this on the dessert menu, so you can order it at the drinks/dessert window, and we’ll make it for you right away, no more waiting in the pizza line.

On the beer front, these chilly nights lately have put us in the mood for some autumnal brews. We have a trio of new beers on the menu this week, including Oktillion Oktoberfest from Ale Asylum, Autumnal Fire Doppelbock from Capital Brewing, and Black Cloud, a new Belgian dark ale from Furthermore.

Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment. Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our facebook page. We hope to see you soon!
