August 5!    Pizza!   On the farm!

Eating pizza has been proven to cause happy smiles...

Cress Spring Pizzeria will once again be serving them up on Wednesday, August 5, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

Last week we were treated to joyful singalong music by Farmony, who covered everyone from Johnny Cash to Twisted Sister. For this week, we welcome the Celtic band Onadare, all the way from the east side of Madison. Come and get your jig on.

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. As we sink deeper into the heart of summer and the explosion of fresh produce, we find ourselves with too many pizza ideas and not enough space or prep time to make them all. So, in order to add, we must first subtract. Sadly, this will be the final week of the season for the mighty Wisco pizza, so get it while you can. And look for something new on the menu next week.

Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.

We hope to see you soon!

July 29!  Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will once again be serving them up on Wednesday, July 29, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

To ease congestion on our long driveway, we’ve created an additional parking area, a bit closer to the bakery than our first parking area. Be sure to look for a spot in one of these lots before parking along the driveway.

After a fine opening set by Dan Walkner, the Lost Highway Allstars tore it up here last week. For this week, we’re excited to welcome Farmony, a singalong band that will play a variety of (mostly) very well known tunes from country, folk, rock, disco, easy listening, tv/movie theme songs, old timey gospel, ballads, parodies, barn burners, and obscure Norwegian folk songs. (Ok, I made that last part up, but who knows? It could happen…)

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. No new pizzas this week, but we’re fermenting some ideas.

July 22!   Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will once again be serving them up on Wednesday, July 22, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

For our musical entertainment this week, we’re excited to welcome the Lost Highway Allstars. With influences ranging from blues, classic rock, country, folk, jazz, and pop, these fellows have a unique sound that embodies over a half century of American popular music.

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. Our newest dessert pizza, the Cherry Pie, sold out quickly last week! Loaded with tart cherries, almond pastry cream,  mascarpone-ricotta blend, and an almond streusel topping, all I can say is dessert first!

If the Cherry Pie is too much, try one of our Raspberry Chocolate Tarts.
