August 3!  Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, August 3, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

There is a lovely article on the front page of the Wisconsin State Journal this morning about pizza farms, featuring Cress Spring Bakery. You can also find it online here: http://host.madison.com/entertainment/dining/farm-food-excursions-from-pizza-to-special-meals/article_1f6d631d-4dd7-5e35-a870-2cb99e31af27.html

Our live music this week will be provided by On the Fence. Joe Loesch on guitar/banjo and Terri Schmit on mandolin play old- time, Irish and Quebecois music arrangements with a light touch.
Katie Scullin

The Aubergine pizza makes a comeback this week, featuring eggplant marinated in garlic and herbs, then fire-roasted in our oven, and topped with cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.
I would like to remind folks that while we don’t mind if you supplement your pizza with other carry-in food, we do not allow carry-in alcohol!
Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page.
We hope to see you soon!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, July 27, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

We feature live music every Wednesday, and this week we’re very excited to welcome Katie Scullin, a singer/songwriter equally at home in backwood bars, martini lounges, and music festivals. Channeling the likes of Amy Winehouse, Ann Wilson, ZZ Ward, and Lourde, Katie has a powerful, classic voice and an impressive arsenal of original songs.
