Important note: We will be on vacation on July 8, no pizza that day!

July 1!   Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will once again be serving them up on Wednesday, July 1, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.

We’ll be featuring live music every week, and this week we welcome back the Back Seat Serenaders, playing American roots music, generally material from 1860 to 1960. They feature three part harmony singing and many instruments, including fiddles, guitars, steel slide guitar, banjos, mandolin, ukulele, jawharp, bones, and musical saw. We really had a great time when these fellows played here in May.

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. We’ve got another new pizza making its debut this week. The Greek is a Mediterranean delight featuring pesto, feta from Capri Cheese, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, olives, and broccolini.

We hope to see you soon!

We’ll be featuring live music every week, and this week we welcome the Star Bandits, a banjo and guitar duet of two songwriters--Sasha on guitar and vocals with Kyle on banjo and harmony vocals.

Last week the Old Gray Cats played until the fireflies came out...

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. All good things must come to an end, so as we move from spring into the heat of summer, the Aspargus Alfedo is coming off the menu. But just in time for the solstice, this week marks the return of the Prodigal Summer! A favorite from last year, this one is loaded with marinated summer veggies, and excellent without cheese as a vegan option.

On the beer menu, we are replacing the Angry Orchard with Crispin Hard Cider. Because we like it better.

We hope to see you soon!

June 17!  Pizza! On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will once again be serving them up on Wednesday, June 17, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm. We had a lovely write-up in the Isthmus this week, so we expect a good crowd to come out.

You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol.

Important note:  We will be on vacation on July 8, no pizza that day!

We’ll be featuring live music every week, and this week we welcome the Old Gray Cats, an ensemble of fiddle (Linda Millunzi-Jones), guitar (Greg Jones), banjo (Joe McNally) and stand-up bass (John Jirak). The Cats play old-time dance band music that you might have heard at barn dances or square dances, with a little singing thrown in for fun.

Brian Schwellinger kept us entertained last week...

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. As we plunge into summer, the Real Fungi gets a makeover, adding baby beets, beet greens, and fennel in place of spinach and scallions. We will have some more new additions in the coming weeks as more fresh produce comes into season.

New additions to the beer menu are Hopaliscious from Ale Asylum, and both Summer Solstice and Holy Gose from Anderson Valley. We are also adding Prairie Fume from Wollersheim to the wine list.

We hope to see you soon!
