Your dedicated pizza crew!
Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, September 23, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm. We’ll be making pizza for four more weeks before wrapping it up for the season. Our last pizza night for the season will be on Wednesday, October 22.

It looks like it might actually cool off a bit next week, so we anticipate having a bonfire every week for the rest of the season. Snuggle up with your sweetie and share a slice of pizza and some hot cider.

We harvested the last of our fresh basil and tomatoes this week, getting ready to put the hoop house to bed. In our first year of growing tomatoes for pizza here, we’ve harvested approximately 1462 lbs of tomatoes, which have been turned into 296 quarts of pizza sauce, and adorned thousands of pizzas.
We feature live music every Wednesday, and this week we’re thrilled to welcome Beth Kille. Beth 19-time Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) award winning artist from Madison who has been cranking out her unique blend of rock, country, folk and blues since 2000. Her stage prowess was recognized in 2011 when she received Artist of the Year honors at the Madison Area Music Awards – a rare accomplishment for a solo artist. She has also been honored twice with the MAMA for Female Vocalist of the Year (’06, ’10). Staunchly committed to the advancement of young musicians and songwriters of all ages, Kille works as the Music Director for Girls and Ladies Rock Camp Madison, hosts Madison’s Chick Singer Night and is an engineer/producer at Studio Gusto, where she specializes in recording/producing records for new artists.
I also want to give a special shout out to Katie Scullin, who graciously filled in at the last minute this Wednesday and tore it up with her stunning voice. We’ll definitely be having Katie back next year!
Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. Ice cream sandwiches are done for the year, but we’ll have some exciting new desserts on the menu soon. I’ve heard rumors of peanut butter cups making their fall debut this week, but I can neither confirm or deny…you’ll have to show up to find out.
After a hard night of eating pizza, what could be better than
curling up with a good book and your favorite fish pillow?

Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.

We hope to see you soon!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, September 23, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm.

Note the new closing time…as it gets darker earlier, we’ll be closing a bit earlier. We will start having bonfires soon though, so there will still be plenty of warmth as the evenings get chilly. Our last pizza night for the season will be on Wednesday, October 22.

We feature live music every Wednesday, and this week we’re very excited to welcome Katie Scullin, a singer/songwriter equally at home in backwood bars, martini lounges, and music festivals. Channeling the likes of Amy Winehouse, Ann Wilson, ZZ Ward, and Lourde, Katie has a powerful, classic voice and an impressive arsenal of original songs. She was named Best Singer/Songwriter in 2014 by 105.5 Triple M Radio’s Project M.
The Lakeview Ramblers were in perfect harmony last week

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page. This week we bid a fond farewell to the Prodigal Summer, because, well, it’s just not summer anymore. But to get everyone in the fall spirit, we welcome back the fabulous Pumpkin Sage, featuring house-made pumpkin-sage sauce, dried cranberries, bacon, chevre, and arugula. Grab some cider or an Oktoberfest beer, order up a pumpkin pizza, kick back on the lawn, and watch the leaves start to change color.
Here’s how it works.
