We will be closed on Wednesday, July 5, no pizza that night!!!!

June 28!  Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, June 28, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

Folks, I’m not gonna lie, it’s been busy out here! When the weather is good, we’ve been having huge crowds and long wait times. For us, this is a good problem to have, but it can lead to some frustration for customers. Accepting phone orders has helped reduce the amount of time spent waiting in line to order, but on a busy night, it can still be a long wait to get pizza. We have a large crew working as fast as we can, but there are no magic elves here. Each pie is made by hand by a live human, and must pass through our flaming hot oven. We can bake about 60 pizzas an hour, and the oven is the bottleneck...working harder or adding more staff won't change that. That means that on a night when we sell 300 pies, some of them will be coming out after 9:30pm. We encourage people to come on nights when the weather isn't perfect, or to come as early as you can, but if it’s a beautiful sunny day, you can expect a large crowd and a long wait. Bring some snacks, kick back on the lawn, and enjoy the music while you wait.

We feature live music every Wednesday, and this week we welcome the Lakeview Ramblers, playing old-time string music that will have you dancing on the lawn.
Lakeview Ramblers

On the beer front, the Hazy IIPA from Untitled Art sold out quickly last week and we can’t get any more, but we are adding their Coffee Stout to the menu this week.
Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page.
We hope to see you soon!
