June 21!  Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, June 21, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

After posting that we accept phone orders on facebook last week, we were suddenly swamped with phone orders on Wednesday, which created a bit of chaos for everybody. We’ll be revising some our systems to better accommodate this, so phone orders are still welcome, but keep in mind that on busy nights we will not accept phone orders after 5:00. We will also be spacing order times out a bit so that we don’t get a ton of orders for 6:00 pickup. This means that the earlier in the day that you call in your order, the more likely you are to get your preferred time.

For our musical guests this week this week, we’re very excited to welcome the The North Country Drifters, performing the repertoire of classic country and western swing groups from the 30's, 40's and 50's. Some of the artists they cover include Jimmie Rodgers, Bob Wills, Milton Brown, Ernest Tubb, Willie Nelson, Lefty Frizell, Ray Price, and Speedy West. This was one of our favorite bands last year. Come and get your Texas two-step on!

North Country Drifters

On the beer menu this week, we are featuring a special Hazy IIPA from Untitled Art, the up and coming collaboration between Octopi Brewing (Waunakee) and Funk Factory Geuzeria (Madison). A delicious New England-style double IPA with refreshing citrus aromatics and a bold, yet smooth, hop finish, this is a very limited release, so get it while you can!

Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.

Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our Facebook page.
We hope to see you soon!
