July 22! Pizza! On the farm!
Cress Spring Pizzeria will once again be serving
them up on Wednesday, July 22, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
To ease congestion on our long driveway, we’ve
created an additional parking area, a bit closer to the bakery than our first
parking area. Be sure to look for a spot
in one of these lots before parking along the driveway.
For our musical entertainment this week, we’re
excited to welcome the Lost Highway Allstars. With influences ranging from blues, classic rock,
country, folk, jazz, and pop, these fellows have a unique sound that embodies
over a half century of American popular music.
Our menu for this week is below, and it's also
posted on our Facebook page. Our newest dessert pizza, the Cherry Pie, sold out quickly last week! Loaded with tart cherries,
almond pastry cream,
mascarpone-ricotta blend, and an almond streusel topping, all I can say
is dessert first!
If the Cherry Pie is too much, try one of our Raspberry Chocolate Tarts.
Here’s
how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October,
we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here
at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at
home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn
chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever
plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served
in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We
will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your
own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to
bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash,
checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.
We hope to see you soon!
