October 18!  Pizza on the farm!

Last pizza night of the season!  

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, October 18, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm.

Folks, this is your last chance this year. It’s going to be a perfect October evening, with a bonfire, hot cider and cold beer, our fabulous pizza, and tasty desserts. Grab a blanket and your sweetie, or your brother or your mother. Bring a passel of kids, or your favorite farmer, or that cute librarian you’ve been dying to ask on a date. Just bring it. 

We’ll have our famous peanut butter cups on the dessert menu, along with pumpkin bars and ice cream sandwiches.

Our musical guest this week will be You Knew Me When, a Colorado based folk-rock duo with a full band sound. Outfitted with an array of instruments including piano, ukulele, glockenspiel, guitar, and percussive elements, You Knew Me When creates a live show that blends a singer-songwriter soul with a rock n roll mentality.

Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with. You should also bring whatever plates, cutlery, etc. that you might need for your picnic. Pizza will be served in boxes, beer and soda in bottles and wine by the bottle or glass. We will have mason jars available for wine, but we encourage you to bring your own. You may supplement your picnic with any salads or other food you wish to bring, but we ask that you not bring your own alcohol. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and chickens as payment.
Our menu for this week is below, and it's also posted on our facebook page. Pizza orders may be called in ahead of time, but on busy nights we stop accepting phone orders once we start serving. We hope to see you soon!

Appetizer basket: Salt & pepper crostini, and a selection of fresh & pickled veggies, and confit fingerling potatoes, served with dill aioli and spiced Moroccan yogurt-carrot dip- $8

Real Fungi: House-made mushroom tapenade, caramelized onions, shitake mushrooms, roasted beets, fennel, toasted walnuts    $15.00 (vegan)

Figgy Pig: Fire-roasted tomato sauce, figs poached in red wine, Sartori Montamore cheese, Jordandal Italian sausage, red onions, $17.00

Pumpkin Sage: House-made pumpkin- sage sauce, Capri Cheese chevre, arugula, dried cranberries, onions, bacon  $17.00

Build Your Own:  You are welcome to build your own pizza out of anything we have on hand each week. Prices are simple:   $15.00 for a vegetable pizza,  $17.00 for a meaty pizza
