October 5!  Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, October 5, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

Our last pizza date this season will be October 19. Only three more weeks!

Dolls like pizza too!

We’re very pleased to participate this week in Dine Out For DAIS, an annual benefit for Domestic Abuse Intervention Services. Ten percent of our sales this week will be donated to this important organization. You can find out more about the services they provide at www.abuseintervention.org.

Our musical guests this week are the Pine Travelers, combining the gritty Americana of outlaw country, folk, and bluegrass with old school funk rave-ups and roots rock & roll. It’s gonna be a blast.
Having harvested the last of our tomatoes and basil this week, we bid a fond farewell to the Margherita, but we’re pleased to add a new pizza to our lineup. The Figgy Pig is made with Jordandal Italian sausage and figs poached in sparkling pear cider, finished with a reduced cider glaze.

September 28!  Pizza!  On the farm!

Cress Spring Pizzeria will be serving them up on Wednesday, September 28, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

Our last pizza date this season will be October 19. Only four more weeks! The weather forecast for Wednesday is beautiful. Come on out and savor the season!

Our musical guest this is Katie Scullin, a singer/songwriter equally at home in backwood bars, martini lounges, and music festivals. Channeling the likes of Amy Winehouse, Ann Wilson, ZZ Ward, and Lourde, Katie has a powerful, classic voice and an impressive arsenal of original songs.

We had a band cancellation, but Phil and Joe of the Sharrows came through
at the last minute to keep the good times rolling...

As the growing season winds down, our tomatoes and basil getting ready to call it a day. This will be the last week for the Margherita. Also, the Duchess will be made with fresh pears now that peach season is over.

Here’s how it works. Every Wednesday evening from May until October, we'll be selling flaming hot pizzas and delicious desserts, beer and wine, here at Cress Spring Farm. Picnic on our lawn or take your pizza to enjoy at home. Outdoor seating only - you are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and warm friends to snuggle with.
